Common issues and how to fix them quickly.
Recoil Is Not Working At All
Make sure CAPS LOCK is turned ON. XUTWARE requires CAPS LOCK to be active for recoil compensation to function.
- Check that your keyboard's CAPS LOCK indicator light is lit.
- Press CAPS LOCK once before entering a match.
This is the most common reason recoil appears to do nothing.
Recoil Feels Incorrect
Check that:
- Horizontal Sensitivity is 5
- Vertical Sensitivity is 5
- 1x Sensitivity is 19
- 2x Sensitivity is 35
If any of these values are different, recoil compensation will not function correctly.
Sensitivity Feels Wrong
Do NOT change the in-game sensitivity. Instead, adjust your mouse DPI until the game feels comfortable.
Weapon Switching Isn't Updating
Verify that your keybinds inside the script match your in-game keybinds exactly. Mismatched weapon keybinds can cause incorrect recoil profiles to be selected.
